Join our Marshal Team

Marshalling is a great way to give something back to the sport you love, and we are immensely grateful to our volunteer marshal team for the part they play on race day at LDST Race Weekends.

RAB Helvellyn Sky Ultra Weekend Volunteer Form

Roles include:

Registration and Bag Drop
Start/Finish Line
Marshalling - Mountain and Low Level
Checkpoint/Feedstation
Course Marking

Some roles will require mountain experience; marshalling experience and/or first aid or medical knowledge.

Benefits include:

Race Credits to use against future races

In return, we will expect the following from you:

A professional appearance and manner
A smiley face
That you wear the uniform and hi-vis clothing supplied
That you come ready with all the relevant clothing and equipment necessary (full details will be supplied email, once your application to marshal has been accepted)
That you come with a flexible approach: you will be volunteering in a dynamic environment where situations may change very quickly – you should understand this, and be prepared to take change in your stride.
